SOPIQ · Microsoft Copilot Studio practice

AI agents your business
actually uses.

Microsoft Copilot Studio gives your business the building blocks for real AI agents — grounded in your data, taking action against your systems, deployed where your team already works. SOPIQ handles the rest: discovery, design, development, deployment, and the ongoing tenant administration that keeps agents performing after launch.

Who this is for

Microsoft 365 customers ready to
put real AI into the workday.

Copilot Studio sits on top of your existing Microsoft tenant. The agents we build know your SharePoint, query your Dataverse, work with your Teams users, and respect the security boundaries you’ve already drawn. No second platform to manage, no data leaving your tenant.

01

Operations teams drowning in repetitive Q&A

HR fielding the same benefits questions every Monday. IT helpdesk answering “how do I reset my password” for the 400th time this year. Finance walking people through expense policy. Your domain experts spend their day answering questions someone else could answer if the knowledge were accessible. A grounded agent ends that cycle.

02

Customer-facing teams scaling beyond headcount

Your website is your busiest channel. A customer-facing agent on your site handles first-touch qualification, surfaces the right product or service, books a meeting on a real calendar, and escalates to a human when judgment is needed — 24 hours a day, in multiple languages, without growing your support roster proportionally.

03

Businesses with workflow inside their LOB systems

You have data in Dynamics, ServiceNow, Salesforce, your ERP, or a legacy line-of-business app. The work people do today is “read from system A, update system B, notify someone in Teams.” That’s an agent. We build it, integrate it, and own the maintenance.

How we deliver

Four pillars from kickoff
to steady-state agent.

Every engagement starts with a paid discovery so we both understand what we’re building. Development is fixed-fee against an approved scope. Once the agent is live, an optional managed operations retainer keeps it tuned and the Copilot Credit consumption under control.

01 · Discovery

Use cases, environment, sizing

One to two weeks. Workshop with your stakeholders to map use cases against business value, confirm Microsoft tenant readiness (Commercial / GCC / GCC High, licenses, Azure subscription), assess data sources, and produce a sized, fixed-fee proposal for development.

02 · Design & build

Agent, grounding, actions

Two to twelve weeks depending on scope. We design the agent persona and conversation flow, configure knowledge sources (SharePoint, Dataverse, files, websites), wire up actions and integrations, build any custom connectors, and test against the use cases agreed in discovery.

03 · Deploy & train

Channels, governance, handoff

Publish to Teams, your website, mobile apps, or external channels as scoped. Configure DLP policies, environment governance, and credit usage controls. Train your team on day-to-day operations and your power-users on building their own agents. Document everything.

04 · Operate

Managed platform, tuning, growth

Ongoing. We manage your Copilot Studio tenant, monitor agent performance and credit consumption, tune answers and actions based on real usage, deliver monthly reporting, and recommend new agents as your team gets comfortable with the platform.

Consumption estimator

What will your agent
actually cost to run?

Microsoft charges Copilot Studio on a consumption model: $0.01 per Copilot Credit. Different agent behaviors cost different amounts of credits per interaction. Model your scenario below. The output is the platform cost — what you’d pay Microsoft. SOPIQ’s platform management is a separate flat fee covered in pricing below.

For estimation only. Copilot Credit consumption depends entirely on how an agent is built and how it’s used. Validate against real usage during a pilot before committing to a fixed monthly budget.

1 · Agent profile

Pick a starting profile, then fine-tune the per-interaction makeup below.

Credits per interaction 2 credits

2 · Volume

How much the agent(s) will be used.

Interactions per month 2,200

Every engagement starts with paid discovery — we both need to know what we’re building. Development is quoted fixed-fee against the discovery output. Ongoing operations are a flat retainer. The numbers below are ballpark ranges; final pricing is in the proposal.

Platform management: $500/month flat. Tenant administration, Copilot Credit monitoring, monthly performance tuning, governance and DLP maintenance, monthly reporting. Required for production agents, optional for sandbox / proof-of-concept work. Copilot Credit consumption is billed by Microsoft directly to your Azure subscription (or invoiced through SOPIQ if preferred — either works). Use the consumption estimator above to model your monthly credit spend. Discovery is required before any development engagement.

Frequently asked

The questions
everyone asks first.

What is Copilot Studio, exactly?

Microsoft Copilot Studio is the agent-building platform inside Power Platform. It lets you create custom AI agents that ground in your business data (SharePoint, Dataverse, files, websites), execute actions against your systems, and deploy across Teams, websites, mobile apps, and external channels. It runs on a consumption model billed in Copilot Credits at $0.01 each.

Do my users need Microsoft 365 Copilot licenses?

For external (customer-facing) agents, no. Anyone can interact with them; you pay credits per interaction. For internal agents, users who have Microsoft 365 Copilot licenses (the $30/user/month add-on) trigger zero-rated interactions through Teams and SharePoint — meaningful savings if your internal team is already licensed. Worth modeling both ways during discovery.

Does this work for our GCC High tenant?

Yes. Copilot Studio runs on Commercial, GCC, and GCC High. We deliver in GCC High through our sister practice at mycmmc.ai when CUI is in scope, with US-citizen-only personnel and CMMC Level 2 controls. Mention GCC High in your discovery form and we’ll route appropriately.

How long does an agent take to build?

Discovery is 1–2 weeks regardless of scope. A starter agent is typically 2–4 weeks of build. A standard agent with grounding and actions runs 4–8 weeks. An advanced multi-agent or reasoning project is 8–16 weeks. Real timelines come out of discovery once scope is fixed.

What if I don’t know how much my agent will cost to run?

Nobody does, on day one. The consumption estimator above is a good back-of-envelope. The honest answer is: you commit to development based on the discovery scope, then we run a pilot, measure real consumption, and use that to set a monthly budget. Microsoft’s capacity packs ($200 for 25,000 credits) become economic once you reliably exceed about 20,000 credits per month.

Can I keep the work if we stop using SOPIQ?

Yes. Every agent lives in your Microsoft tenant under your subscription. The build is your IP. The documentation we hand over at the end of build includes everything a future internal team or another partner would need to take over operations. We retain no exclusivity over your agents and we don’t lock you into proprietary frameworks.

How does SOPIQ’s $500/month differ from Microsoft’s billing?

They’re separate. Microsoft bills you for Copilot Credits consumed (variable, see the calculator). SOPIQ’s $500/month flat is the managed-service fee for tenant administration, credit monitoring, monthly performance tuning, and governance maintenance. You can pay Microsoft directly via your Azure subscription, or SOPIQ can manage it on your behalf and bill you a single combined invoice.

Will Microsoft retain or train on my data?

No. Copilot Studio agents process data within your tenant under the same data-handling commitments as the rest of Microsoft 365. Your inputs, your grounding sources, and the conversations are not used to train Microsoft’s foundation models. DLP policies you have in place for Microsoft 365 also apply to your agents. We’ll review the exact data-residency posture during discovery if it matters for your compliance regime.
